St. John's Methodist Women
St. John's Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our mission at St. John's MW is to help and support women and children on the local, state, and global levels. St. John's MC MW meets on:
3rd Tuesday of January, March, April, September, and October at 2:00 PM
4th Saturday luncheons happen in February, May, August, and November

The Methodist Men meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the Family Life Center.

Kairos Prison Ministry of St. John's Methodist Church
Kairos Prison Ministry is a Christian faith-based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world.
St. John's is an active support congregation for the Kairos Ministry at the Hughes Unit of the Texas Department of Corrections in Gatesville, TX For more information on the ministry work at St. John's, contact Stu Leonhart.

WINGS OF THE MORNING, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC)
This mission is supported by St. John's Methodist Church monetarily through donations and offerings to the Central Texas Conference.
This mission project serves those in need of medical transportation or medicine delivery in the rural areas of the Congo. This project started back in 1960 when there were no new roads to facilitate transportation. It is still the 911 emergency contact for the rural areas. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) often calls and asks us to distribute medicine and transport medical workers along the river to help victims.
